She will essay the role of Sanjay's mother Nargis Dutt in the biopic directed by Rajkumar Hirani.

And her fans can't wait to see her on the big screen once again. But she isn't the only actor we are excited to hear about. Here are other 90's actors we want to see on film.

She charmed the audience with her dimpled smile and some powerful performances back in the 90s, but it was her cricket team which consumed most of her time later.

However, it's been a while we have seen Preity Zinta on the big screen. And the good news is that she is returning to films this year with Bhaiyyaji Superhitt.

Preity, known for her films like Dil Se and Veer Zaara, in a recent interview revealed that it was her husband Gene Goodenough who pushed her back to Bollywood. And we can't be thankful enough.

Most of the 90s films wouldn't have been the same had Karisma not starred in them. Such was the craze for this Kapoor girl in those times.

She took a break from films after her marriage to Sunjay Kapur in 2003. It was then in 2013 that she made a comeback with Dangerous Ishhq but the film tanked at the box office.

But it would be interesting to see her once again on the big screen. In fact, Karisma recently revealed that she isn't averse to returning to films and might make a comeback soon.

He might not have those chocolate boy looks any more and he is already 50. But we would still want to see Bobby Deol on screen more so for his earnest attempt to make a comeback in the films.

Bobby, who was last seen in Yamla Pagla Deewana 2, wants to act and we want the filmmakers to give him another chance.

In a recent interview, Bobby said, "Honestly, I am starving to work. I am dying to work. I want work. I want the movie producers to know that I am still around and very much available. I am looking not just to play the lead role but any role that gives me a scope to perform well."

If she made the 90s hot with her sexy siren image in films like Rangeela, she proved her acting mettle in Ek Hasina Thi, Pinjar and Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya.

And who wouldn't want to see a combination of good looks and superb acting once again on the big screen.
