#MeToo: Bollywood reacts

Filmmaker Rajkumar Hirani was accused of sexual misconduct by one of his female assistant directors of the film 'Sanju'. The allegations on Hirani have sent another shockwave across the industry. Recently many Bollywood personalities also reacted to these allegations on Hirani. Writer-producer Vinta Nanda said, 'The latest on #MeToo is so disturbing. Who is it that women can trust? Can't deal with these words anymore.’ ‘At the outset, our client states that the allegations made against him are false, mischievous, scandalous, motivated and defamatory.' Similarly actress Dia Mirza also said that she is deeply distressed by this news as she claims to know Rajkumar Hirani for 15 years. She also urged that a due official inquiry should be conducted. Meanwhile, Rajkumar Hirani has denied all the allegations against him.
