You could take a screenshot of photos posted by a stranger on Instagram without the person being aware of it. But not anymore.

As per Instagram's new feature, the user will now know if someone takes a screenshot of the photos posted by him or her. Hence, Insta-snoopers won't be able to take screenshots anonymously.

Similar to the feature in Snapchat, you will be able to send and receive photos and videos with a time stamp on them, according to a Cosmopolitan report.

The messages will disappear from Direct Messages (DM) after a certain number of seconds. If the person takes a screenshot of DM, the sender receives a notification saying the person has screenshotted the snap.

Similarly, messages will have features like 'delivered' and 'seen' too.
