Slaven Bilic says Barcelona's remarkable victory on Wednesday night should remind teams never to give up on matches.

Barcelona rallied from a 4-0 first-leg deficit in their Champions League last-16 clash with Paris Saint-Germain, winning an incredible second leg at the Nou Camp 6-1 to progress 6-5 on aggregate.

And Bilic, who is preparing his side for a Premier League clash with Bournemouth on Saturday, says their two injury-time goals should serve as a lesson not to give up hope in anything but the most extreme of circumstances.

"Of course I watched it, and it has to put a smile on your face," said Bilic, whose side could climb into the top half of the table on Saturday.

"It was everything that football is all about; quality, great goals.

"We are always talking about it not being over and yesterday is proof of that.

"You see the quality of the players and on the other hand how big, massive players with a lot of experience in the Champions League and so many games behind them in their careers crumbled under such amount of pressure. That is unbelievable.

"It is a great game that you can use in talks with your players. Not only Barcelona but also from the PSG side. It was an unbelievable game to watch."
