"RIP FAST EDDIE CLARKE 5th October 1950 - 10th January 2018"

Fast Eddie was born in Twickenham, London in October 1950 and went on to become a member of heavy metal band Motorhead as well as Fastway.

He began playing guitar at 15 and played in a number of local bands before finding fame.

He's been working to refit a houseboat when he met drummer Phil Taylor, who had recently joined Motorhead.

He introduced Eddie to Lemmy and it wasn't long before the trio were playing together.

They went on to amass huge success in the UK with albums like their self-titled debut, Overkill, Ace of Spades, No Sleep 'til Hammersmith and Iron Fist.

Lemmy and Phil both passed away in 2015.

Fans left tributes to Fast Eddie on the band's post.
