Jennifer Lawrence was one of the many famous victims of a nude photo hacking scandal in 2014, where celebrities’ personal nude photos were stolen and published online, and the actress is still recovering from the immeasurable invasion of privacy.

"There's not one person in the world that is not capable of seeing these intimate photos of me," Lawrence said in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter. "You can just be at a barbecue, and somebody can just pull them up on their phone. That was a really impossible thing for me to process."

Although the Oscar-winning actress had originally considered suing Apple, she eventually decided against it. Lawrence revealed that she didn’t feel that a lawsuit could bring her closure, let alone help her recover from the incident.

The hacker responsible was sentenced to 18 months in prison and ordered to pay nearly $10,000 in damages earlier this year; however, Lawrence has revealed that she is still affected by the leak three years later.

"I think, like a year and a half ago, somebody said something to me about how I was 'a good role model for girls,' and I had to go into the bathroom and sob because I felt like an impostor," she said. "I felt like, 'I can't believe somebody feels that way after what happened.' It's so many different things to process when you've been violated like that."

The hack affected predominately female A-listers, such as Kim Kardashian, Kate Upton, Selena Gomez, Cara Delevingne and Rihanna.
