Childish Gambino cancels Australian shows, Spilt Milk promises 'exciting' replacement

Canberra music festival Spilt Milk insists it will have "an exciting line-up addition" to replace headliner Childish Gambino.
Childish Gambino has cancelled his Australian tour, including headlining Canberra's Spilt Milk festival next month.
The rapper, whose real name is Donald Glover, was also set to perform in Perth, Melbourne and two shows in Sydney in the lead-up to the November 17 festival.
Over the weekend he cancelled a performance at Voodoo Festival in New Orleans after doctors told him to continue recovery from a foot injury he sustained during a show.
And on Sunday, Australian fans' worst fears were realised as news came through that shows in Europe and Australia as part of the This Is America tour
"Not ready to put on 100% shows. Apologies to the fans. I will be back soon," he posted to Instagram.
Organisers of Spilt Milk said they were "devastated" to lose their headliner.
"We are totally gutted that Gambino can't make it and we know that many of you are as disappointed as we are," they said in a statement.
