While decadent food, A-list guests and no-expense-spared entertainment are all part and parcel of a celebrity wedding, oftentimes it's the gown that us fans are most excited to get a glimpse of.

With dress budgets in the tens of thousands of dollars, our favourite Australian celebrities rarely disappoint when it comes to fashion on their big day.

While some celebrities enlist the help of high-end designers to create custom gowns, others have bucked the traditional white tradition and have instead opted for pink dresses to exchange their vows.

From reality TV stars to journalists and models, we've compiled an album of the best wedding dresses of all-time.

Anna Heinrich

Anna Heinrich and Tim Robards exchanged vows at the stunning Masseria Potenti hotel in Manduria, Italy in June 2018.

The former lawyer wore a custom-made Steven Khalil gown worth an estimated $15,000. Her bridal squad, which consisted of her friends Elissa Griffin and Caroline Matson as well as her sisters Andrea and Charlotte Heinrich, also wore white.

Jesinta Franklin

Model and entrepreneur Jesinta Franklin wore a custom, corseted Vera Wang dress at her 2016 Blue Mountains wedding to AFL star Lance "Buddy" Franklin.

Jasmine Stefanovic

To tie the knot with Karl Stefanovic in 2018, Jasmine stunned in a custom-made couture gown by Sydney designer Jessica Andretta which took six months to create, and had a detachable skirt.

The gown featured soft blush tulle undertones with aztec motifs beaded over lace, exclusively picked and perfectly fitted into the Mexican location of their wedding.

The dress showed off her incredible figure with a slim-fit top, a long veil and a short skirt to show off her legs.

Snezana Wood

Sam and Snezana, who met in 2015 on the third season of The Bachelor, wed in a small but stunning ceremony surrounded by family and close friends at Byron Bay's Fig Tree Restaurant in 2018.

Snezana looked like something out of a fairytale in a handmade Haute Couture Pallas Couture bespoke lace gown.

The gown was made with Swiss and French classic Chantilly lace which was all appliquéd by hand.

"The hem was delicately hand appliquéd with additional 3D lace flowers. The whole dress was themed around my European heritage to give a timeless, classic but modern chic feel with the Pallas Couture glove like fit," Snezana said of her gown.

Sarah wore a stunning beaded wedding gown by Australian fashion designer Alin Le' Kal, who has also designed her Logies dresses in the past.

Jen donned a meringue-style wedding gown by Melbourne-based designer Toni Maticevski for their 2013 cliffside nuptials at the seven-star Semara resort in Uluwatu.

Miranda Kerr

To tie the knot with Snapchat founder Evan Spiegel, supermodel Miranda Kerr opted for a princess-worthy gown, saying she was inspired by Grace Kelly's iconic dress at her 1956 wedding to Prince Rainier of Monaco.

Miranda entrusted Dior's artistic director Maria Grazia Chiuri Kerr with her dream dress: a long-sleeved, high-necked satin gown with appliquéd lilies.

The Kora Organics founder model met with Maria a few months after Evan popped the question in July 2016. This was the first bridal gown Maria worked on for the iconic fashion house.

But Lisa bucked tradition, and opted to wear a 1960s-inspired, powder-pink wedding gown. Instead, Lisa and Mark's guests were instructed to wear white.

Georgia Love

Georgia Love and Lee Elliott said their "I do"s in a romantic wedding ceremony in Hobart in March 2021.

In a special nod to her time on The Bachelorette, where she fell in love with Lee, Georgia wore a gown designed by the same man responsible for her debut red carpet look on the show's premiere.

The stunning strapless design featured a structured bodice, billowing skirt and a plunging V-cut down the front.
