For many people, a regular exercise regimen is a crucial part of a healthy, balanced life.

Consistent aerobic exercise can even give your brain younger a boost, according to Business Insider.

But that doesn't mean all successful people are workout fanatics.

In fact, some say they avoid the gym -- and traditional workouts, in general -- at all costs. Some claim to hate physical activity and others simply don't need to exert themselves to maintain a healthy lifestyle. Maybe one or two are simply "allergic to exercise."

Here are some successful people who don't exercise:

Jolie doesn't set aside time to exercise. The actress and director said she's always been 'kind of slight.'

Plus, according to the New York Daily News, Jolie said she's naturally active enough to maintain a healthy lifestyle -- and take on the odd action role: 'I've always loved to run and jump around and be physical.'

Actress and film producer Salma Hayek is too busy to work out

While she's a major fan of restorative yoga, Hayek doesn't work out.

'I don't have time to exercise. I am working. I've had some 20-hour days,' the actress told People.

She said she's learned how to hold her 'body in a way where the muscles are activated all day long,' allowing her to stay fit without any traditional exercise.

Stewart forgoes the gym, having inherited a 'naturally skinny' frame from her parents.

'We're all like this in my family, so I don't have to exercise a lot or go on a diet,' she said, according to the New York Daily News.

US president Donald Trump believes physical exertion is bad for you

The US president doesn't just skip the gym. Trump reportedly believes exercise bad for you.

The New Yorker reported that, 'Other than golf, he considers exercise misguided, arguing that a person, like a battery, is born with a finite amount of energy.'

Trump's anti-exercise beliefs are bolstered by his confidence in his own 'genetic gifts,' biographer Michael D'Antonio told Axios: 'He wants to assume that he can do something that others can't do simply because of who he is.'

Scientific research does not back up the president's reported beliefs about health, according to Business Insider's Kevin Loria.
