We're yet to be convinced that any shade, hue or colour will ever truly be "the new black", but a close second we're seeing everywhere this season is the glowing greens of chartreuse .

Varying shades of pale neon green, lime and chartreuse were spotted across Afterpay Australian Fashion Week from the runways to street style, bringing a bold injection of colour to the rainy backdrop.

At Dyspnea neon-hues were paired with deep browns in psychedelic patterns, while Bondi Born and Alex Higgins opted for tonal ensembles.

Over at Gary Bigeni and Mariam Seddiq, designers played with contrasting colours, while Aje toyed with textures at its stunning MCA runway.

Outside on the streets of Sydney's Carriageworks, the style set sported the eye-catching colour in snake-skin prints, with leather pieces or paired it back with equally-bright hues.

Seeing as we're seriously crushing over the colour trend, we've rounded up some pieces to shop to nail the look yourself.
