But Margot Robbie managed to divide fans with her unusual Chanel frock at the BAFTAs in London, England on Sunday evening.

The 28-year-old's gown - which featured an embellished bodice, black ruffled shoulder detailing and a matching hemline - sparked debate on social media. 

'Margot Robbie is too beautiful to wear that ugly dress,' one fan tweeted. 

'Didn't like her dress at all. She has a perfect body, too bad her stylist decided to hide her body in that ugly dress,' another wrote. 

Several fashion critics jokingly compared the outfit to a 'car wash', with one person adding: 'Quite a sparkly car wash, granted.'
