Albanese in Tokyo for state funeral of former Prime Minister
The Prime Minister is in Tokyo to pay his respects to Former Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe who was assassinated in July. Former prime ministers Malcolm Turnbull, Tony Abbott and John Howard have joined Mr Albanese for the service. Other international dignitaries attending include US vice president Kamala Harris and Indian prime minister Narendra Modi.
