Desperate search for two missing autistic children, 11 and 13, who haven't been seen for a WEEK

A desperate search is underway for two children with autism who have not been seen in a week. 

The children were last seen by their father at their Garrick Street family home, in Coolangatta, Queensland, at 10pm on April 7. 

Police have asked the public for help to locate the young 11 and 13-year-old who both suffer with autism and have intellectual impairments.

The 11-year-old boy is described as 140cm tall, slim build, olive skin, brown hair and hazel eyes.

The 13-year-old girl is described as 140cm tall, slim build, olive skin, brown hair and eyes.

Police believe the children may be in the company of a woman who is known to them. 

Anyone with information about the children's whereabouts is urged to contact police.
