Global tech leaders call for pause on AI research
Some of the globe's leading tech experts including tesla and Twitter owner Elon Musk and Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak have issued an open letter - urging the world to pause research on artificial intelligence. They say it poses profound risks to society and humanity. Toby Walsh, chief scientist at the UNSW's AI institute, chose not to sign the letter.
