Legal experts debate potential for High Court challenges

Legal debate continues over whether the wording of the question to enshrine an Indigenous Voice to Parliament, could delay the government's agenda. The federal government's preferred wording for the proposed constitutional amendment will retain the words 'executive government' after months of debate. The government says some tweaks to the wording have put fears over the voice's role beyond doubt, but the Opposition wants the legal advice to be made public.
