
Palaeontologists find plesiosaur fossil in outback Queensland
A group of palaeontologists working in outback Queensland have uncovered the complete fossil of an ancient marine reptile the first discovery of its kind in Australia. Researchers believe the rare find will help unlock the answers to some age-old questions about the species which lived alongside the dinosaurs.
