Police hunting suspected killer of crime figure

A suspected gunman who executed a Melbourne crime figure connected to a notorious bikie gang can be seen strolling from the crime scene in newly-released CCTV footage.

The man is wanted for the execution-style murder of known criminal Daniel Wayne O’Shea at Fawkner Park in the city’s South Yarra three weeks ago.

Footage shows the suspect strolling along Toorak Road and Como Avenue, carrying a shopping bag and wearing a baseball cap to conceal his face.

Two hand guns were found by children in the park the day after the murder.

O’She, aged 41, known as ‘Shot Caller’ had links to the Comanchero bikie gang.

His death was the latest in a spate of fatal shootings in Melbourne.

Police say if anyone knows the identity of the man in the footage, they should call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
