Police searching for woman not seen for nine months

Police are appealing for public help to find a Sydney woman missing since August last year.

Beilin Zhang, also known as Elaine, was reported missing to police after her family overseas failed to hear from her.

The 23-year-old was last seen on CCTV leaving Kiama train station about 3am on August 20 and did not return to her Wolli Creek home.

Ms Zhang is described as being of Asian appearance and about 160cm to 165cm tall.

She has a slim build and brown eyes, with her naturally black hair bleached blonde.

Ms Zhang was last seen wearing a long white coat, black pants and gloves. She may be in possession of a black handbag.

Police also appealed for information on Ms Zhang's disappearance in October.
