Tasmanian youth detention detainees say they're being confined to rooms for hours

Children at Tasmania's Ashley Youth Detention Centre say they're being confined to their rooms for up to 23 hours a day. The Tasmanian government claims the lockdowns are a necessity during staff shortages, and that children continue to have access to school and activities, however detainees and their parents say that's not the case.
