Jamie Clements calls for political donation changes

October 11, 2019. Former NSW Labor general secretary Jamie Clements speaks to media outside the NSW Independent Commission Against Corruption in Sydney after giving evidence over two days. Clements denies ever receiving $100,000 in cash in a bag but says he thinks the donations system needs a review. "The donations system is something that leads — when there are big donations — to people being able to have access and all sorts of special treatment," he says. He also denies ever receiving $100,000 or arranging a meeting between Huang Xiangmo and then-federal opposition leader Bill Shorten. (AAP Video/Andrew Leeson)
