
National Cabinet scraps mandatory isolation from October 14
National Cabinet has agreed to scrap mandatory COVID isolation and most pandemic leave payments in a fortnight. Mandatory COVID isolation and paid disaster leave payments for most people will come to an end on October the 14th. The changes were unanimously agreed to by the state and territory leaders at a meeting of national cabinet, with the backing by chief medical officer Paul Kelly.
