The most dangerous creatures for humans

Espresso Logo By Catherine Keogan of Espresso | Slide 2 of 21: Unsurprisingly, we are our own worst enemies. With nearly eight billion humans on the planet, most packed into tight quarters, we excel at harming one another. We cause more human fatalities each year than any other animal by far: 1.25 million deaths from violence and another 1.35 million deaths from road traffic incidents alone. Add to that the diseases we pass on, non-fatal injuries, and health impacts from manmade causes such as pollution, environmental degradation and disasters—well, other people are the animals we should most fear.
