Trio of bikini-clad thugs arrested over vicious riverside bashing logo 2/04/2016

Three women in bikinis who beat another skimpily-dressed young woman unconscious on the bank of a river in South Carolina have been arrested and charged for the brutal act, which left the victim disfigured.

Video of the incident at Columbia's Saluda River shows Arlinda Craft, Anns Leigh Hill and Megan Williams – 18, 19 and 20, respectively – giving the victim a brutal hiding, pulling her hair and pummelling her face, head and body with their fists.

"Have a good day at the river," one of the attackers can be heard saying as the trio marches off.

According to WISTV, the victim told police that the girls threw her onto the rocks at the river's edge, where she passed out, concussed.

Her friend who witnessed the attack told the TV station that she hopes justice is served and that the aggressors "get what they deserve".

"(They were) waling on her face, waling on the back of her head," the young woman said. "They definitely could have killed her.

"You can tell that she's completely messed up in the face."

X-rays obtained by WISTV appear to show the cartilage in the victim's face, particularly around her nose, is badly damaged.

Craft, Hill and Williams have all been charged with second degree assault and battery by mob.
