As overwhelmed hospitals in Victoria battle long wait times, doctors say GP shortages are part of the problem
Doctors are warning, the long queues at emergency departments will continue until the health system is overhauled. Hundreds of young patients waited for several hours at Melbourne's Royal Children's Hospital last night, it's delayed a number of elective surgeries, while the Alfred has suspended them for a week because of staff shortages.
