Unwanted Gold Coast hooker Beau Falloon has signed a one-year deal with Super League champions Leeds Rhinos.

The 28-year-old was one of several Titans players involved in a drugs controversy earlier this year.

He was accused of supplying cocaine but had the charges thrown out in court.

Despite clearing his name, the 2014 Titans player of the year was not offered a new deal by the Gold Coast club.

He will instead join the Rhinos where he’ll replace fellow Aussie Paul Aiton who is heading to Catalans Dragons.

"I am really looking forward to joining the Rhinos and getting involved in Super League," Falloon said.

"I have watched a lot of the games this year and I can't wait to pull on a Rhinos jersey.

"The team have achieved a lot this year and hopefully I can come over and help the side continue that tradition.

"Leeds have got a great forward pack who like to go forward and, being a hooker, that excites me.

"Leeds has a proud history and it will be special to play for them. I am 28 years old and I thought it was a good time to come over and have a new challenge in my career."
