Victory striker blows up at coach during game

Melbourne Victory striker Besart Berisha has blown up at coach Kevin Muscat during the Victory’s clash against Kawasaki Frontale in the AFC Champions League.

The score was tied at nil-all in the 70th minute when Muscat pulled his veteran Albanian striker for Kenny Athiu, and Berisha was less than impressed, unleashing an expletive-laden barrage as he walked off the field.

The fiery 32-year-old made a point to avoid Muscat on his way to down the bench as he continued his rant.

Despite Berisha’s anger, his team was able to come away with a crucial win over the Japanese side, courtesy of an injury-time winner by Kosta Barbarouses.

Muscat was quick to brush off the incident following the win.

“Haven’t got a problem with any of the boys that came on,” said Muscat.

“Last time I checked, it’s a football team.”
