Constance disappointed with rogue NSW MPs

September 17, 2019. NSW Transport minister Andrew Constance speaking to media at state parliament about the abandoned leadership challenge against Premier Gladys Berejiklian. Constance says he is disappointed in the three MP's actions and would encourage them to focus on the job at hand. "It's disappointing and ultimately what's this over? I mean the reason we are in this position is because, quite rightfully, our Premier gave us the ability of a conscience vote," he says. The debate comes after a weekend of demonstrations from supporters and opponents of the draft legislation. In its current form, the Reproductive Health Care Reform Bill 2019 would allow terminations up to 22 weeks as well as later abortions if two doctors agree. The bill passed the lower house 59-31 in August. (AAP Video/Andrew Leeson)
