Farm produce expected to drop by $2bn next financial year

The government's chief commodity forecaster is predicting the value of Australian farm produce will drop by about two-billion dollars next financial year. Abares expects Australian farmers will grow about 59-billion dollars worth of produce in 2019-2020, which is about three per cent down compared to this year.
