PM takes questions over NSW election barbecue in Sydney

March 23, 2019. March 23, 2019. Prime Minister Scott Morrison arrives at Sylvania Heights Public School as voters attend for the NSW election and speaks to media alongside his daughter Lily. Morrison says NSW Premier Gladys Berejiklian deserves to be relected on her own merits and denies that there is pressure from the result on his upcoming federal tilt. He says of Bill Shorten: "If he was any further away from NSW this week he would have been in the sea". A Labor volunteer also attempts to hand him a how to vote leaflet saying, "There's still a chance for redemption, vote Labor," to which Morrison replies: "You've got to be kidding mate."
