700 NSW hospital patients have had their privacy breached

The letters, which had been handled by a private transcription service, were turned over to police after being discovered by a resident putting out bins in the suburb of Ashfield last week. The Health Minister Brad Hazzard says he's "very, very unhappy" - but the department's preliminary investigation suggests patients weren't put at risk.
