Bliss N Eso say life changed after tragedy

April 20, 2017. Jonathan Notley (Bliss) and Max MacKinnon (Eso) of Australian hip-hop trio Bliss n Eso, in Sydney, speak about the death of Gold Coast stuntman Johann ‘Yogi’ Ofner, who was accidentally shot dead in January while filming a music video for the band. Notley says reality shifted for the group when they heard the news and Mackinnon says “you can’t think of anything else, every five seconds of every minute, it’s there, it’s in front of you”. The pair also speak about the recent tribute concert they held on the Gold Coast for Ofner and how important it was for them to connect with his family and celebrate his life. Bliss n Eso’s new album Off The Grid wil be released on April 28. (AAP Video/Danielle McGrane and Carol Cho)
