The way in which we navigate the road is ever-changing. We graduated from paper maps to electronic GPS devices. Then smartphones happened, and now we resort to relying on apps like Google Maps and Waze to tell us where to go. While this is convenient, it doesn't exactly facilitate safer driving. Smartphone displays are far smaller than old-school GPS units, and you have to crane your neck and squint your eyes to figure out your next turn.

The HUDWAY Glass is offering an innovative way to stay safe and take advantage of the latest technology. Initially used by military pilots, HUDs projected navigation information onto a transparent glass called a "combiner" so their attention wouldn't veer away from the cockpit. The HUDWAY Glass functions the same way in that it transfers images from any mobile device onto a clear display that you can put directly above your dashboard, preventing your gaze from wandering while your hands are on the wheel.

It blows up your phone display to a 20 percent larger image, giving you a crystal clear picture of the digital map, speedometer, and other critical navigational information. Plus, its futuristic look is a nice addition to any vehicle. When you install it on your dash, your car's interior will look a little less dated and a little more like the USS Enterprise
