Mauna Loa volcano eruption: 'Amazing we get to see it in our lifetime,' Hawaii residents say
Onlookers flocked to Hawaii's Mauna Loa on Thursday to see the world's largest active volcano that began erupting for the first time since 1984 earlier this week. "It’s just pretty amazing that we get to see it in our lifetime, not many people have. And it’s just spectacular to see Mauna Loa, the longest mountain in the world, to finally erupt and Pele (goddess of volcanoes) doing her magic," Hawaii resident Tiphany Myers said.
