Annexation of occupied Ukraine regions by Russia 'illegal,' says Anand

Defence Minister Anita Anand criticized Russia for its plan to annex four regions of Ukraine that recently held what she and other politicians have called "sham" referendums on whether those Russian-controlled areas want to "rejoin" Russia. She said it was an "illegal intrusion into territorial integrity and sovereignty of Ukraine."
