Alfa Romeo Giulietta

Alfa's new Giulietta hatchback will be the first Fiat to use the automaker's new compact platform, which will be widened for use also in North American Chryslers due in 2012 and 2013. This Golf-sized five-door hatchback goes on sale in Europe this spring, and replaces the aging 147. Although Fiat has said the sporty Italian brand will return to North America within the next two years, the Giulietta will not be one of those models.- John LeBlanc, MSN Autos
