Toyota i-Road

Toyota i-Road: Looks far-flung, but Toyota plans something like this soonThe Toyota i-Road is a radical reimagining of city car transport - a diminutive two-seater in the mould of the Renault Twizy, but which leans into corners like a motorbike. At just 85 cm wide, it's incredibly narrow and Toyota claims you can park four of these in a single car parking bay. Its electric powertrain has a range of 50 km around town, and Toyota suggests it's likely to bring a tiny urban hopper like this to market in the next few years. It might be a few more years following its European introduction before it ends up on Canadian shores.
