Futuristic car features

After-market car stereos have come a long way, but there's one more step they will take this month. Just in time for summer, Pioneer will release what it calls AppRadio, an in-dash entertainment system designed specifically for iPod and iPhone users. The 6.1-inch touch-screen system, which can be mounted and customized into any car, will act as an extension of Apple devices - like having an iPod or iPhone sitting in the middle of your dash. AppRadio will support all apps that iPods or iPhones do (some will be disabled for safety precautions), and will be specially designed to give drivers quick access to a range of helpful applications, like radio and GPS programs. According to reports ahead of AppRadio's release, the unit will cost less than $500. * Bing: Read car stereo reviews here
