While most automakers make periodic updates to their models, the ever-evolving Tesla Model S seems to be updated at a much faster rate. Now the electric carmaker has added an Executive Rear Seat option that adds a big dose of luxury to the Model S sedan. The seat upgrade is available on all variants.

The Executive Rear Seats upgrade replaces the rear bench with two seats that are separated by a center console featuring integrated cup holders and hidden storage. Additionally, the upgrade includes dual-zone heaters, while the Tesla App allows control over the vehicle’s media, climate, and moonroof settings.

Pricing for the Executive Rear Seats upgrade is listed at $2000 and is in addition to the $3500 Premium Interior Package (Nappa leather throughout the cabin, Alcantara headliner, LED interior accent lighting). The Subzero Weather Package (three-zone rear seat heaters, wiper blade defrosters, washer nozzle heaters, heated steering wheel), which costs $750 on its own, is included with the Executive Rear Seats upgrade. The $2500 Rear Facing Seats option is not available with the Executive Rear Seats option.

The Executive Rear Seats option is already live on the Tesla Model S sedan’s configurator here.
