Audi A5 and S5

Audi's stunning A5 coupe loses its top in Cabriolet ($56,300) form. Unlike rivals from BMW, Lexus and Infiniti, the A5 Cabriolet uses a traditional soft top, which means you don't lose the luggage space normally associated with folding-metal hard tops. The interior is suitably stylish, and two - albeit small - passengers can fit in the rear seats. Power comes from a 211-hp 2.0-litre turbocharged engine with a six-speed automatic transmission and standard quattro all-wheel drive. For those looking for more grunt, the S5 Cabriolet ($68,300) uses the new S4's 333-hp supercharged 3.0-litre V6, with its six-speed S tronic transmission. More aggressive bodywork, 19-inch wheels and a sportier setup highlight this impressive model. Only downside is losing the S5 coupe's throaty V8 roar ...
