What to do when bedbugs move in to your car

A brief history of scratching

Bedbugs were first documented in ancient Greece, although they probably shared caves with our hunchbacked ancestors. They arrived in North America in the early 1700s on supply-carrying ships from Europe. The bedbug problem seems to resurface in cyclical waves. London, England, was overrun at the turn of the 20th century, as were other European centres at the time. After nearly eradicating the insects in the 1950s - we have pesticides and vacuum cleaners to thank - they've managed to make a big comeback.Related links:Does your car stink? How to kill bedbugsVideos: Bedbugs in cars
