Known for his deadpan comedic style, Macdonald hosted SNL’s popular “Weekend Update” segment from 1994 to 1998, and went on to create the ABC sitcom The Norm Show. In recent years, he hosted the talk shows Norm Macdonald Live and Norm Macdonald Has a Show and made many appearances as a guest on late-night television.
