"It's crazy how rude the American shopper is to people they don't know - who are helping them," a Costco employee from Utah told Business Insider. However, one California-based Costco worker told Business Insider that they haven't had too many problems with members. "We get paid incredibly well to deal with the members, so unless they're being crazy - admitting to stalking you, being racist - we'll deal with it," the employee said.
