Ancient birds return to nest in Vancouver's Stanley Park
Pacific great blue herons have returned to their colony in Stanley Park to breed, populating about 90 nests. Herons are considered an at-risk species in Canada, and experts say the fledglings will be vital to sustaining the heron population in B.C.
