Assault leaves person dead near Salvation Army shelter in Winnipeg
The Emergency Drop in at the Salvation Army shelter on Henry Avenue is closed today, after the death of a man outside the downtown shelter. Winnipeg police were called there just after midnight about an assault with a weapon.
