Halton Region police are on the lookout for a man who looks like actor Ben Affleck in a theft from a Milton LCBO.

Investigators report the suspect, in his mid- to late 20s, was at the LCBO at 1025 Bronte St. S. and stole alcohol with a total value of $53.90 on Thursday, Aug. 8.

He is described as white, about six-foot-one, 200 pounds, with reddish brown hair and a moustache and beard. At the time, he was wearing black shorts and a black sweatshirt with a white and blue “Quik Silver” logo on the front, as well as a backwards grey baseball cap, and runners with red laces.

Last year, police in Blackpool, England released an image of a man who bore a striking resemblance to Friends actor David Schwimmer after the thief swiped a bank card and bought cans of beer and other items. The image went viral, prompting the actor himself to jokingly declare his innocence.

Anyone with information can contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
