Microsoft executive Jared Bridegan’s charmed life ended in bullets as his toddler daughter watched horrified.

That was Feb. 16. Now, nearly one year later, homicide detectives in Florida say an arrest is imminent in the shocking slaying.

The police announcement comes as the prime suspect — Bridegan’s ex-wife Shanna Gardner-Fernandez — has moved across the country to the Seattle area. Her second husband, Mario Fernandez, is also a suspect.

Fox News reports that law enforcement sources say an arrest could come as soon as Wednesday in the death of the father of four, whose two-year-old daughter, Bexley, watched him die.

The former couple had been engaged in a bitter custody war and divorced in 2016 after she reportedly had a sexual affair. The contentious court battle was still raging when Bridegan, 33, was murdered.

Cops say that on the day he died, the high-flying executive stopped to remove a tire from the middle of the road. As he did so, he was shot repeatedly while his daughter watched. Investigators believe the tire was part of the assassination plot.

“This was such a heinous crime … I mean, the amount of times he was shot, just to ensure that he was dead,” Bridegan’s older brother, Adam, told WJAX.

The bone of contention for the former couple was custody of the 10-year-old twins they shared.

Oddly, Fox reported that Gardner-Fernandez’s second husband Mario did not move to Washington state. She refused to comment on the latest developments in the case, as did her lawyer.

“Honestly, I was shocked,” the victim’s second wife, Kristen Bridegan, said of the move. “It’s been an added loss … On top of losing Jared, my children have lost their siblings. I’ve lost my stepkids. I have tried for months and months to make contact and have gotten nowhere.”

The shattered widow fears the twins are now “isolated” and could be subject to brainwashing.

“First, the twins lost their dad, then they were completely cut off from their own sisters, and now they’re being taken away from their school, friends, their sports teams … that’s what concerns me,” she told Fox News, adding that Bexley faces “a lifetime for her of processing those feelings and the trauma of what she went through.”

Both Jared Brigedon and his ex-wife were well-heeled members of the Mormon faith with her wealthy family being big players in Utah. She is said to have drifted from the LDS after they married in 2010.

In a rare interview, Garnder-Fernandez told a Jacksonville TV station: “Our relationship was pretty complicated and remained pretty complicated.”
