LiAngelo Ball's shoplifting arrest for stealing sunglasses from a Louis Vuitton store in China was shocking at the time and ultimately ended the freshman's UCLA career before it started.

After the arrest, LaVar Ball tried his best to play it cool in front of the cameras, suggesting that the entire situation would be worked out. But behind closed doors, LaVar appeared to be incensed.

In the latest teaser video for the Facebook series, Ball in the Family, we see the moment LiAngelo had to break the news to his dad about his arrest. LaVar's reaction took a swing from confusion to anger as the disappointment in his son was clearly visible.

When LaVar questioned why LiAngelo would feel the need to steal glasses, the 19-year-old responded, "I just liked how they looked."

That set LaVar off on a tirade.

LiAngelo and his two teammates would remain in China as the school and the U.S. government worked to get the players released from their luxury hotel. When they returned to Los Angeles, the team suspended the players indefinitely. LiAngelo would leave the program and sign with a Lithuanian club team shortly after.

The episode of Ball in the Family will air Sunday on Facebook.
