NEWS OF THE WEEK: Kendrick Lamar's new album has biggest no.1 debut of 2022
'Pitchfork' reports 'Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers' has surpassed Bad Bunny's 'Un Verano Sin Ti' and Future's 'I Never Liked You' on the 'Billboard' 200 chart. Future and Bad Bunny had secured 222,000 and 274,000 album-equivalent units, respectively, while Lamar landed 295,500. This is the fourth time Lamar has had a No. 1 album on the chart. His last album, 'DAMN.,' was released in 2017. It was critically acclaimed and earned Lamar a place in history as the first hip-hop artist to win a Pulitzer Prize.
