New Democrats accuse Liberals of failing to honour housing promises
NDP Leader Jagmeet Singh says all Canadians should be able to afford a place to live, telling the Liberal government rent has jumped dramatically and there are too few new houses. Prime Minister Justin Trudeau says the government has rolled out several programs to help Canadians find a home, but he recognizes there is more to do.
