Newfoundland sets record for power usage
Freezing temperatures led to an all-time peak in electricity use in Newfoundland. N.L. Hydro says a total of 1,730 megawatts were in use by lunchtime Saturday. The CBC's Carolyn Stokes talked to N.L. Hydro vice-president Rob Collett about how they met the demand.
